Wow, I think I prefer paying $20 for the OEM filter from hartopguy. It's only a 5 minute job to change it out.

I was thinking the same too but that actually looks fun if you have some free time Then you can change it out every 10 to 15k miles and be so fresh so clean all the time

i change mine around 10k if not sooner, it's a cheap thing to do esp for someone with allergy like myself.

it looks fun and all but i don't know how well it will filter out crap vs flow, by using filter media designed for totally different environment.

i'll keep my warranty vs saving a few buck but yeah, whatever floats your boat

what does the standard or certification stood for?

how they do the testing and would it mean anything to us?(esp when used in the car?)

there's sh-t filter we use at work that are hepa approved(we have a "clean" room)

suspect all wikipedia definitions as anyone can make up one and post it there as fact. not saying this is the case here. just as one of the old timey types a healthy suspicion of some new fangled technologies can be useful (credit default swaps anyone!)

LOL i never knew you were supposed to change it, i have never changed mine... who knows if the previous owner changed theirs. LoL.
