I was thinking of buying a new 04. I was just wondering if the 00-03 intakes, headers, and exhaust will fit the new 2004 models?

 

I don't think anyone has tried yet. But, they certainly should.

 

did u guys see that 04 mugen s2k from hte sema pics...seems either hte mugen parts work for the 2.2 or they could be all new parts yet to be realeased........OR it could be a non-USDM s2k meaning same motor, same parts.......

Mugen parts are for Japan, just sold here thru Distrubutor...King's

Japan keeps f20c...so they will not make any new pieces, other than the new shaped exhaust, and 04 body work
since it only went up .2L I dont thinka big prob will come into play so as far as intake, exhaust and header... I would guess it will work fine
BUT... I do not think the ECU will work

i think someone was saying before in another post that i can't remeber that the headers will not work since it is now 2.2L.

I am primarily fixed on knowing if the comptech intake and exhaust work since that will be my first mods.

 

Yes and no. Everyone is in the process of getting CARB certified, but it sounds like everything will fit. However I am sure with all the tweaking of different designs, the headers will have to be refined for the most gain. As far as intakes and SC'rs, word has it at SEMA that everything fits.
Yes, except the ECU's. But then again sice Hondata still hasnt been able to create any offerings for us, the only ECU may still be AEM.
