Default Do I need to cut the bumpstops?

I've installed the Koni yellows along with the KG/MM race springs. I have them set on the lower perches. Do I need to cut the bumpstops to give the shock more travel? Current drop is about 1.75"

Thanks!

bump. Anyone? Did you leave your bumpstops intact when you installed your springs or springs/shocks?

I didn't cut mine when I had my koni's on the lower perch with KG/MM Race springs.

Not sure this helps but my GC coilovers instructions said to trim the bumpstops (there are 3 sections an I trimmed off 1 or 2 (can't remember off hand). Bumpstop can prevent your suspension from bottoming out and possibly damaging the shock. If you can't get a clear answer from KG/MM or a dealer, I would consider trimming the bumpstop but leaving part of it installed.
