Do these retainers looked cracked?

Default Do these retainers looked cracked?

What do you think? I'm probably going to replace them anyway.

Typically what you are looking for is if the keepers are sunk into the retainer. If you can see the inside wall of a retainer its probably cracked.

If I were already this far into the head I'd replace them assuming you have the tools/parts to do so.

The ones that have a good angle view of the retainer's side wall look good to me.

For some reason, the second intake retainer from the rear is always the worst. Get a good look at that one.

I can barely see the inside wall of the retainer on 2 of them, I mean, just barely. I'm going to go ahead and replace them. I'm already at that point. Parts came in today, just have to drive 2 hours and pick them up from the dealer (nearest one is 2 hours away, sucks). I've got everything except the valve spring compressor, buying that today from autozone, going to shave it down with the grinder to make it fit easier.
