You should be able to get one at any decent parts store. It prolly won't be specific to the S but a universal tool should work just fine. I'm surprised that a mechanic doesn't have one in his tool box - if you replace clutches, it's needed.

I had one that I bought back in the early '70s but gave it away recently because I'm old enough that I don't want to be doing these things myself. The DSM guy I gave it to said it worked fine so sizes shouldn't be a problem...

A wood dowl or broonstick handle works fine.

any honda parts department will sell it to you. 07PAF-0020000 is the part number. but yeah you could go to autozone and get one for a civic or prelude, it should be the same.

Exactly right.. the only purpose is to insure you tighten down the assembly with the hole in the middle in a straight line so you can stick the transmission. There is nothing special about the tool.

if you want the real deal the only place to get it is direct from honda, and they have to order it. other methods do work as well, but you will only know if they worked once you have assembled the car all back together

You'll know it before the car is back together since you won't be able to get the transmission in...

'94 Accord alignment tool will work. Pep boys or Autzone should carry it. You should be able to eyeball it. Either way your mechanic is
