Since I bought my S used, how would I know what TSB's have been worked on the car, does Honda track them by VIN#?

When I get my car back I will be wanting to check this.

Yes, all warranty work including TSB's should be on their database.. only way to keep from paying more than once.

 

If a Honda dealer runs a VIN status inquiry only the mandatory recalls will show up on the inquiry. Tsb's that are not mandatory are not shown. Every dealer must submit a warranty claim to AHM in order to be paid for the work performed- I'm sure Honda keeps the info, but where it is stored I don't know. Every dealer keeps records of work performed, but the dealer records are not shared between dealers.

But they are shared with AHM. CD is correct. Any work done on the car should be in the master database maintained by AHM and forwarded to logistics.....for the reason CD mentioned.
