My dome lights work when I hit the button, but won't turn on when I open the door or lock/unlock via the key fob. I've verfied the switch is in the middle. What gives?

The screws holding the fixture provide the ground so any change or damage loosening the screws will stop operation.

 

hey guys whats up i just signed up on this site...i really like its theres tons and tons of very useful information! I currently have an 05 s2 and i have the same problem it just started acting up.

 

mine does same shit. bang on that area a little and it starts working. so its either the screws as someone said, or its simply grunge on the contacts. cause i always leave mine centered, and if anyone moves it, its F&%Ked after that. lol. lates

 

you are correct. I banged on it for a while and it works again. Weird.
