Draining fuel tank?

Default Draining fuel tank?

Anybody have any pointers on how to to locate the drain plug? is it hard to do this task?

Just turn the key to on, let the fuel pump prime (having it unhooked from the fuel rail) and when it is done priming turn it off. Repeat.

That works. Not sure about the garden hose but a 3/8 clear tubing worked for me.

Last time I heard someone needing to do this it was because they were going to transport the car by ship and they would not take a car with a full tank due to security reasons in case of any accidents.

I had to do it to switch fuel before going to the Dyno. I couldnt fit a hose into the tank so I pulled the fuel pump and siphoned it out that way...it sucked balls...
