The OEM goes because the problem isn't the tensioner, there is something that has lowered your oil pressure slightly. Maybe a leak around the TCT, the VTEC solenoid, or something else.

Sorry but that doesn't sound like TCT noise to me, sounds a lot deeper, check your valve clearances before rushing and buying something you may not need. if your clearances are OK then there may be an internal engine problem mate, sorry.

I just viewed your vid for the first time, I can't make out any tct noise either.

The second video that Reckon posted, towards the end once its warmed up that is TCT noise 100%.

The camera mic alters the noise drastically, like it's adding echo. I am not convinced it's pure engine noise, rod knock for example, other wise it wouldn't come and go. Sometimes it's continues once warmed up, other times it's interminent (at idle only), comes and goes. Then completely dissapears once i get past idle, 1500 rpm and above. What else can it be?

TCT noise is best recorded 6 feet away from car, hood closed.

New clip after a 30 minute ride, it's more audible towards the end of the vid

Sounds like TCT, but can't be sure. Noise is not distinct like other vids.

Thanks Bill, i also think it is the tct, but i will also do a valve adjustment, i also have new retainers/springs/valve seals to change as preventative maintenance.
