Drive shaft problem
Hi. I have already posted this question to the s2000 general discussion, but I am new to this and I suppose this question is better suited to this thread.
I have a year 2000 s ( japanese import ). I noticed a slight clunking noise in the rear passenger side wheel when I pull off so I took the rear wheel off to investigate . What I noticed was that there is a slight bit of play in the drive shaft to that wheel that is making the noise. I removed the opposite wheel to check and found that I did not have the same problem. So it looks like I have to replace some parts. Has anyone done this before and if so could you please tell me what parts might be needed and how best to go about fixing the problem? Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I can't find my bookmark or the PDF of the service bulliten, but it is a very common problem. The axles get play in them because honda didn't torque the cv axle nuts properly. Go to your local honda dealer and order 2 36mm axle nuts that go on the end of the cv axles. Jack up your car, take off the rear tires, unbolt the 36mm axle nut sockets and throw them away. Then put plenty of grey grease into the splines and threads of the shaft, and torque new nuts to 220 lbs/ft
