Default Driveline slack ?

I jacked up the car the other day and turned it on, for no real reason i decided to put it in gear. Instead of the wheels spinning smoothly they kind of bounced around going faster and slower, there was also a tapping/ clicking noise as if a connection had too much play in it.....
Is it the U- Joint getting ready to go out?
Or is this normal and related to the TORSEN? and the sound is maybe the gears bumping around in the tranny....
The car drives perfectly on the road
I tried to see if i noticed any noise when going from accel to decel or before or after engine braking. puting it into reverse and drive, that kinda stuff... but i didnt hear anything.

sound seemed to be coming from the drive shaft / more twords tranny area, but for some reason it was incredibly hard to source.

The torsen LSD has to have some resistance to work. If you lift a wheel the torsen will send all the power to that wheel.
