Driver Side Window Adjustment?
So i bought a replica Mugen top and unfortunatley i have an issue with the material in the top corner of the driver side window location. So whenever i shut the door it rubs on the top and i have to push down on the door so it wont take off more paint than it has already. Is it possible to adjust the height of my window? If i lowered the height about .06" it would clear...
Yes. Its pretty simple to do. pull off the door panel and remove the speaker. lower the window down and you'll see 3 or 4 bolts on oval holes. The holes will have hatch marks which allow you to "measure" the heights. Move it at your own risk though, mess with it wrong and you'll close the door on the glass and shatter it.
I had to do this when I swapped out my window motor.
:edit:
There are two round dowels - this is the window "stop" - this is not what you change. You change the bolts that the window is attached to the "ledge".
