Default Driver's rear wheel bearing....

so i replaced my driver's rear wheel bearing in Feb 08; it is now Sept 09, and i've got bearing noise again. Has anyone else experienced this? what are the odds of getting a bad bearing? or maybe i somehow managed to mangle the install? i don't really see how, it's pretty straightforward...

anybody have any thoughts?

dont worry bro cause i also replaced the hub and its only been 6 months and i am getting the beginnings of the problem once again as well !! clicking... but heres my stumper i went to go and have them retorqued before the moise got any worse and they arent loose in the hub... i am afraid its just going to happen again !!

fyi... if one side went bad its only a matter of time before the other side does as well !!

i feel like this will be a continious problem for the life of my S... i have heard its a service bulliten but honda will not recall it !! the reason this happens if because for some reason the axle bolt either stretches or backsoff the axle and the bearing creates a groove in the hub !!

the last time mine went out it sheared the bolt and half the splines off of my drivers side axle... i almost lost my precious wheel (staggered cp-r spinthart) and took out my abs since the caliper came out of standard position !

maybe driveshaft spacers create less of a strain on the axle length changing from being dropped ???? I dunno !

Don't even ask me how much bullshit I've had to deal with when changing a bearing. Make sure you torque to 220-230 not 180.

replace both hub and bearing, but before you do make sure to inspect the knuckle for damage/warped. After re-torque, make sure to stake the axle nut.
