Default DRL Light Blinking

I have a MY 2000 Canadian Spec AP1. Recently I noticed that the DRL dash light is blinking erattically.
Seems to be tied to road irregularities, like going over a sharp bump.
Hard to tell if this is impacting the operation of the running lights, as it only occurs when in DRL mode during the daytime.
Anyone else experience this?

Not on the S2000, but on other cars I've had flickering warning light issues. It's been connection problems. Connectors to the dash console. Or fuse contacts.

Electronic contact cleaner and a few plug in-&-out have usually solved the problems.

Good luck!

Problem with the DRLs or simply the DRL indicator?

I recall the DRLs are the high beams at reduced voltage. Any high beam issues? Connectors tight? Easy enough to check and clean the connectors behind the high beams. Just removing and reinserting is often enough to clean the contacts.

No issues with the high beams - will find the connector to the DRL module and unplug and replug...

A little contact cleaner may help. I like Deoxit D5 spray.
