Default dry nitrous

A friend of mine is giving me a really good deal on an NOS dry kit, and I can't turn it down. He is giving me the bottle, 25 and 50 and 75 shot nozzles, remote bottle opener, bottle warmer, purge kit, window switch, and all the necesary wiring and switches. I am planning to wire it for the purge for the time being, while i save money for a VAFC and nitrous gauge. I was wondering, with the proper tuning would the dry kit be safe? It wouldn't be used too often, and I am planning to run the 25 shot on the street, and the 50 shot for any track days. I am mainly doing this for show, but I definitely want more power out of it. Any feedback is welcome.

- it should be ok, up until a point
- I would go with a 50 shot AT THE MOST, that may be pushing it..
