Indeed, I think you'll see minimal variation in power between 3rd and 4th, although 4th should read a touch higher if you hold conditions the same.
I'm _guessing_ that a run from 2000-9000 rpm will take a supercharged car (on a dynojet) about 8-9 seconds in 3rd gear, and 12-13 seconds in 4th gear. IOW, both are in the acceptable range for load time.
Try both and see what happens. Just make sure that conditions (coolant and intake temp) are consistent.
