The S2000 does not respond well to mods concerning peak numbers.

The S2000 does however respond well to some mods throughout the powerband. Midrange can be improved drastically, 15-20 HP on some cars with the right I/H/E and tuning. Also consider that most intakes dont create HP when strapped to a dyno compared to when the car is actually moving. Which also makes the H/E produce more numbers when the intake is collecting more air.

Hope this clears some things up.

Good Dyno plots compared to what other cars were making

I think car and track or some other large magazine where there was an error of 10-20% or so of different dynos. I saytake em for a grain of salt also dyno #s don't mean much if you can't drive ya well. Compared to most sports car, RSX, 350z yes the S is maxed out from factory. Lets not go FI either. In all honesty you pay a pretty prenny for HP gains on the s2k. To me its not worth it to spend to much, again all opinions

How much did you spend s2kboy just curious!

A stock S2000 dyno'ed 190 on the same day right afterwards. That is a significant difference if you ask me, not to mention the much better mid-range on this car compared to the stock. More importantly, the area under the curve has also increased significantly.
Here is my complete stock MY01 dynoed at the same day at the same place for comparison.
