Default E-Brake light stays on

I just went to the track yesterday and now my brake light always stays on when i'm driving. Is this an electrical problem or something that has to do with my brake fluid? Anyhelp would be appreciated, thanks.

Check the brake fluid level 1st. It's possible the switch in the master cylinder reservoir has gone bad. Unfortunately, the entire master cylinder must be replaced as the reservoir and switch are not available seperately.

If the fluid level is OK, and the e-brake is down unplug the switch on the reservoir. If the light goes out, the switch is faulty.

OMG Mcflyyy my white circle thing was also stuck and yeah I used a pick and disloged it and it floated up. Would've never in a million years have thought to poke around in the reservoir to find this issue. Thanks for making this post!!!

While you're in there replace the black fluid in the clutch reservoir by sucking it out, wiping out the dirt with a clean rag, and filling it. Pump the clutch several times and repeat to get rid of any additional dirty fluid. Unlike the brakes the clutch cylinder kinda recycles the fluid which is why repeating is helpful. A turkey baster is the only special tool required.
