E20 (20% ethanol) bad for our S2K engines?
The local distributor has been running E20 in his non-flex fuel pickup and Harley for some time without any ill effects.
I can't seem to find anything definitive on E20. I know E10 is okay and E85 would be disasterous for the S2000 engine. But is E20 off limits too?

Unless you have modified your car with an aftermarket conversion kit - the maximum allowable ethanol content is 10% for the S2000. There are folks that have purchased aftermarket kits for the S2000 - but none of them are endorsed, recommended or otherwise recognized by Honda. IOW - Use at your own risk.

why is it so bad to run E85 on an s2000 motor (F20 or F22) other than the fact that you need to tune for it? I have 3 or 4 buddies running E85 in their vehicles on pretty much stock fuel systems, just tuned with bigger injectors

too high concentrations of ethanol are bad for certain seals or something like that which arent designed for it if i remember correctly. the car may run fine, but you may or may not have other problems down the road.
please correct me if i am wrong
