I Bought a slightly used kraftwerks Supercharger kit off a local s2000 enthuseist. The kit came with all the fuel management (injectors, fuel pump) as well as AEM V2 ECU with a tune that he had done by a local reputable tuner and ran great. My question is would it be safe to run the tune file on my car now with the same exact setup and parts? Both cars are 2000 s2000. I know there are many variables, but is this just a big no go or could it work?

 

Imho as long as you have the same octane available and it was tuned stock engine (similar bolt on) should be good. How much psi?

just dont go wot smashing to redline until you get it tuned yourself. But as long as the same fuel is used and both motors were stock youll most likely be okay driving it around town until you get it tuned.

 

Psi was around 14-16 psi that I recall. Pushed 420whp he claimed. Everything the same but he had a different header, mine is stock.

 

Eh if anything it should be fairly good if you stay within the same octane and take her semi easy.

You'll want it checked over and verified on a Dyno, best case scenario. Should be good to get it there tho deffly.

 

So I got a little more info. Was tuned by Jeff Evans in PA and made 420whp 255wtq at 14.5psi. Is Evans still doing E-tuning or did they stop?
