Goodbye!!!

InsaniT: Yes, the F20 is interference. Most Honda, and most high-compression engines are.

I guess my next quesiton is, what is an "interference-type" engine? What are the other "types"?

Interference and non-interference. I'm not sure of an exact "technical" requirement, but an interference engine has piston/valve paths that cross at different points in the rotational cycle. In other words, if you lose proper timing, the valves may be introduced to the pistons. This generally occurs in high compression engines where the top of the piston comes very close to the roof of the combustion chamber (and the valves).

Hmm... good little tidbit of knowledge. Guess you do learn something everyday! Thanks.

The question still remains, how can you prevent the dealership from seeing high revs and redlining? Someone said that if the you can find the ECU you can disconnect it and it should clear out the info?
How do we keep dealer from seeing our over revs and top speeds?
