ECU identification
yea, gonna try the parts number thing this week, if everything works out I should be ordering an 02 ecu this Friday... hopefully it works out and I can sell my 00 ecu to someone with a f22 who wants to enjoy 9000 rpms, lol
here's the part number format
37820-PZX-A09 through A14 these are the newer reflashable ecus 06+
all start with 37820-PZX, the last 3 digits are the ecu's revision level, you can look up the ecu part number for each model year to determine which revsions match up to model year. some times there are more than one ecu revsion for a model year.
