Sorry if this is a repost, so cancel this if it is. But why are our ECU's so sensitive and why does the tone/sounds of our cars change when driving habits change (drive hard then normal)? Never had this issue with my previous cars or heard of this with other types of cars

 

what are you talking about ? do you mean when you take it into vtec?

 

the tone of how the car sounds when its sitting in neutral, after racing it/being in vtec alot, etc. I dunno why my S sounds like an STi with exhaust. You know, that fast-paced pulsating sound they have coming out of the exhaust. But then the sound goes away the next day for me. And Im not talking about my engine bay sounding wierd, Im talking about my exhaust tone.

 

My car doesnt do that....

maybe it just has to do with your exhaust system being hot?
