Hmmm, I don't know about the s2k but on my old eclipse the springs had a to be clocked to certain position to fit correctly. Wonder if that's the issue.

just jacked it up and checked it out a few minutes ago. Both the front springs end in serial number 01 ( front ) and both the rear springs end in 02 ( rear ). All four springs are seated against the strut mount exactley as they should be... leaving the ONLY thing that i could think it would be is the pre-load on the front driver side... but I KNOW i pre-loaded it the exact same way I did all the other corners. ALSO, i found out ( through measuring ) that BOTH rear's are the same drop. It just looked different because the front passenger side is lower. So the ONLY problem now, is that either the driver side front is too high ( i hope not... its about as low as I want to go ) or the passenger side is too low.

im really thinking abou just selling the eibach's and getting some Megan coilovers. Anyone else have any ideas?

What exactly is the correct way to preload the suspension?

with the car up on all four jackstands, and the suspension completley put together, but held "in" to the car only finger tight, take a floor jack and jack up the entire suspension and hub assembly ( from or by the castle nut below the rotor ) until that corner of the car rises BARLEY off the jack stand... torque every suspension bolt down to correct specs, then remove the jack.

The only bar I removed was the rear strut tower bar, which is back on of course.
