Default Electric SuperChargers?

I've been looking at options for a quick bolt on part that will give me some decent horses and torque...I stumbled across this product. It's an electric supercharger witha cost of about $100-$120:

Anyone have this or tried before??? Worth the $ ?

Don't waste your time/money with this. You need the Turbonator.

I've seen a dyno where they hooked a leaf blower up to an intake of something like a Toyota Tacoma, it made I think 10whp more. And well, leaf blowers flow quite a bit of air. How much do you think that dinky "electric supercharger" flows? Most people don't realize how much air is actually flowing through the engine.

That electric fan will probably make the car lose power since it'll restrict flow at full throttle.

you can't get a device that blows a significant amount of extra air into the engine without REAL FI (supercharger or turbocharger). it needs a BIG source of power to force enough extra air in to make a difference, and what better source than the engine itself?

if you want affordable power/tq gains, get a single exhaust with test pipe

This whole mini electric supercharger thing looks like it'd make for a good episode of mythbusters
