One of my good friends owns a 2005 S2K (mine is a 2003) and is experiencing a problem that we hope one of you smart guys can figure out. While driving periodically his ABS dash light comes on while at the same time his heater fan, and fan speed indicator lights, go off. He can stop and re-start the engine and after a couple attempts everything is okay for a bit and then it happens again. Kind of sounds like loose groud to me but we really don't have a clue. Of course the dealer could probably "trial and error" it to solve the problem but that is more than likely going to be pricy (may be only option). Have any of you guys got any ideas or even had a similar problem? Your help is appreciated!

It does sound like a loose connection. If you can get your hands on the wiring schedules, carry out continuity tests using a multimeter between the problematic areas and ground.

However, start, by inspecting the earth strap at the back of the engine.
