Electronic interference under throttle/boost
Has anybody experienced something similar to this?
My car is turbocharged with a Mase kit and it also has an aftermarket stereo system consisting of component speakers, an amplifier, and a subwoofer.
When my stereo is on and I open the throttle more than 40% or so or when the car starts to creep into boost, a lot of electronic noise comes from the speakers. The noise can best be described as a person handling a new bag of potato chips. It just crackles and pops through the speakers.
At this point, I am wondering if I should get one of those grounding kits available from T1R, HKS, etc. The advertised effects of the kits seems like it would solve my problems.
Has anybody experienced a situation similar to mine? If so, were you able to correct the situation and what did you use to fix this random noise?
Thanks!

That has to do with the RCA cables running from your AmP to the deck. Alot of the time whoever does the install will run the power cable along side the RCA cables. This should not be done as it can cause this noise. It could also be a bad set of RCA Cables cheap ones tend to do this. Grounding kit will do nothing for your problem. Start by trying to plug in a new set of RCA's from the back of the deck to the AMP and see if it fixes your problem.
