Headrest Speakers Review
I've spent some time listening with the headrest speakers tonight.
They are a big improvement. I'm running them directly off the headunit, with the components run off an amp.
Their proximity to the ears allows them to deliver voices with much greater clarity. Other solutions would require the volume to be much higher to get similar results. At higher speeds the road noise still takes its toll on sound quality, but it is now possible to hear what people are saying.
Dealerships are wanting to charge $250 for the install on top of the units. This is a very high price to pay and I wouldn't have paid that much.
