Your sway bar is being held by two brakets and the other end link. It should be safe, just dun't go very fast. Without looking underneath the car, I dun't know if the swaybar end will chafe anything It should be fine temporarily

Just get an OEM link. This the first failure I have ever heard of.

There have been numerous breaks with autocross cars using stiff front bars running on concrete. However, I haven't heard a complaint in a long time so either the folks and/or cars that had problems have all gone to aftermarket/homemade links or there was just a rash of inferior links early on.

For the record, I have a Comptech bar on full stiff with the original endlinks. I also haven't run much on concrete and the number of races probably equals what some of the above folks would run in one year...

not so much for the s, but for my other honda, honda had so much problem with snapping endlink they ended up with a beefed up version of it(accord btw)

one of the local autocross champ broke the endline mount on his car(the frame) with a hemp joint adjustable endlink(which works wonders, if you don't mind the funny noise)

He said hemp and joint in the same sentence!

I think you meant Heim joint. My Gendron bar has Heim joints and it doesn't make any noise.

Mine failed about a year ago. Replaced with OEM and working fine. It failed at the bottom ball connected to the end of the sway bar.
