you revived a very old thread. lol. and by the way, the S2000 does not have a serviceable fuel filter.

The s2k has a servicable fuel filter, you remove the cover under the soft top rear sitting, unscrew the lid and get it out of the tank (comes with the pump), change it and put it back. I did this, i have exactly the same problem and i changed the fuel filter but didnt work.

lets bring it back from death.
I have the same problem. Sometimes the rpms wont go up as fast as they are supposed to. Like if the car wasnt tuned right; it's very weird.
