hey guys, my motor blew, and the mechanic just emailed me and told me I need to get a replacement for this part




anyone can fathom a guess what exactly it is? All i know is that the crankshaft cause this part to be damaged beyond repair.

My guess is this is the short block? or block? or bottom end?


Next thing I will need is to know where I can get one asap. Its for a AP2 JDM F22 Engine.

Yes...that is the block...looking up from the bottom.

Where you can get one depends on where you live.

It may be cheaper to just pick up an entire new engine. If you're wanting JDM, then see if you can find a J's or Spoon motor to drop in. I think A&J Racing has those crate motors...but perhaps other vendors too.

your gonna wanna get a new block an crank for sure.that being said prolly gonna wanna get new bearings to go with the crank.how are the piston rods/pistons an rings?

 

The tuner is getting a stroker kit for me. new bearings,crank, pistons and all, do they come with a stroker kit?

priority now is to source for a block.. any online sites i may get it from?

just wondering how much thats gonna cost me..
