Can anyone tell me what this engine connections is and where they run?. They both connext into the cam cover and with one (nearer the front of the engine) the other end of it connects to the intake tube just before the throttle body. And other is on the same side of the cam cover but is further towards the back. The other end of this one connects into the plenum chamber. what is the purpose of both connections? Thanks.

It is the red pipe in this threads top picture that connects from the cam cover to the intake. Thanks

The one toward the front is the crankcase vent, the one toward the rear is the PCV valve vent. Both are plumbed correctly in that pic.

 

Thanks and whats their purpose? To release pressure from the crankcase? Or camshafts?
