Default Custom Engine Cover

Anyone ever look into making custom engine cover pieces for our car? I saw the thread in teh gallery with the Mastergrade engine cover kit for use with Comptech SC'ed engine.

I was thinking about the possibility of making a custom cover that could cover up a cold air intake and the headers at least. I figure if we have something like that...the cops can't see what we have under the hood haha.

Can they really do that though? My ref ticket says I'm cited for "modified smog equipment". If they can't see the parts, how can they cite you for "modified smog equipment" and refer you to a ref?

I know this...that's why I'm asking if we can get a custom engine cover to hide the cai.
