Engine cuts off at 6000rpm... help!

I just got my car back from the dealer to get some TSB's done. Now my engine won't rev past 6000rpm. What could it be?? please help!

ok, the preliminary question. Did you let it warm up or was the motor still "cold"? (I'm not trying to be a smartass either just getting the basic question out of the way.)

you do know that you can not vtec until the temp is at 3 bars? Take it to the dealer again.

This happened 40 minutes into my ride back home. I had it on 6th gear on the freeway the whole time, and when I downshifted to pass, it cut off

I drove 70 miles to this dealership b/c I heard such good things about it, and now I have to take it back again. What a drag

BTW, the puzzling thing is that it's totally normal below 6k -- not even a check engine light.
