The bog is more like a "dead miss" as my dad called it. Only when the car is warm and DEFINITELY has some kind of reaction to heat. Drove in a hotter VA and the bogging was severe. Back in NJ tonight, cool night and the bogging is very minimal. It is indeed heat related.

Also tested the TPS tonight. Looks fine. So I guess move on to the air valves and what not. See if anything is stuck.

Read up a lot on MAP sensors screwing up idle without throwing a code so I went ahead and ordered one instead of beating around the bush.

I did the same for mine 3-4 weeks ago. It did not change the bog. I even changed the PCV valve and seafoamed the gas and top end. None of this changed the bog. There is a CPU reset and map wack write up that helped mine about 1-2 years ago, but it never eliminated it. I even cleaned the IAC valve.

Why would you foul them? just try them out and do not gap them.

Ok so last update hopefully. Changed my plugs to NGK 7772s (the plugs i replaced were also 7772s but god knows how old they were) and even though they looked alright, this might have fixed my problem. Talked to a local mechanic who diagnosed it as water in my tank. Switching from Shell V-power (car never ran right with it..) to BP 93 with invigorate and its a ton smoother.

The random missing/bogging is pretty much gone. It'll do it once in a while but I assume the tank must have a bit left. Going to run my talk almost dry and fill up with BP but for now, problem solved. Thanks for all your help people.
