Engine Hoist (cherry picker)
Being a car guy my boss asked me if I knew of anywhere one can rent an engine hoist. My grandfather has one so I've never needed to. Any of you guys know of where someone can rent a hoist?

I did think of that, but the only problem is getting it to him. 1.5 hr drive and no way to strap it to the S. Maybe if I swiped his 4-runner for a trip home, LOL.

Hmmm, whenever I have needed one I have always gone to my buddy who owns a shop. He says he lets people use it from time to time. You could tell him to call around to shops and see if one fo them will let him use one.

you know its like 50/day to rent one...you can get a good used one for right about a hundred and you can et a new one for just about 175ish. id really suggest buying one for 100
if you only use it once you can sell it after for the same price
