Default Engine Light is on, need some advice

Hi, one month ago the engine light went on.
I drove to Honda they reset it, after which it worked for another 3 weeks. Then it light up again once i pass 4k rpm. Engine performance does not seem to be affected, and the dealer say's it must be broken?!

Is there a way to see if it is broken or if there is actually another reason why it is on in the first place?

thanks

Why not pull the code? That would be the logical thing to do.

Did they tell you the CEL code was P0325?
Any clutch or starter motor work done lately?

99% sure the knock sensor was damaged during clutch work.
Reaching for the top starter bolt, you get dangerously close to it.

motherF...!!!

You have no idea how pissed i am... thing is i am trying to change the shop for ages, but they keep owing me...I had another thread about the fact that they could not match the paint on my yellow S, so they said they will repaint the whole car, since i had a little bender in my door they fixed that too and included the paint job in the costs of that.

No i find out that the knock sensor that they said "had broken" is actually their fault, because this was the first S they changed a clutch on.. and they told me that it was hard to find all the bolts that hold the gearbox.

So i`ll go there on Monday and lay out some wrath on their asses, because i`m sick and tired of their rip off schemes.

I`ll make them order the sensor and let someone else mount it...

one more question guys: Is the fact that it is on, change the car parameters in any way? (since it is not actually detecting any malfunction)

Wha? I thought knock sensor would retard timing.

And that's LIMP mode.
