thanks for the help . s2ki rules ... i was only running minimal boost cause my clutch cant handle the power and slips a little . therefore i couldnt tune it properly . (need stage 3 act 6 puck asap ) so it was only running 3lbs or less .

so if theres oil in the mani as a result of the turbo , do i get the turbo rebuilt and clean out any residual oil from intercooler and mani?
would my ams software tell me anything that would show the problem ?
is the logging function in the ams only run when you plug in the laptop and run it or is it constant ?
if it isnt the turbo , then i should pull the head and see whats goin on ? or should i pull spark plugs , inspect , check compression
and go from there ?

do a leakdown test. dont start pulling to much off it. start from the outside and work your way in. post each little clue and we can help you resolve this.

was it colonel mustard in the library with the wrench? or a worn valve guide on cylinder 4??

Most likely yes.

EMS?? Most likely no.

Your EMS only does logging when you have a laptop hooked up to it. Which EMS are you using?

Absolutely not

This is your best bet as of right now.

so i havent got the intercooler piping off cause its quite a tight area , but i do notice oil around the intercooler side of the turbo . i took some photos . also i did a leak down test , although my compressor needs a new drain valve , it seemed to be consistant and airtight thoughout all 4 cylinders . there is a slight oil leak around the sensors above the oil filter area , not sure if thats a big deal or not . . ill try to posty pics.
