yes my car burns about that much maybe a little less, when I first bought it I thought the motor was ****ed but my dealer(BOCH HONDA NORWOOD, MASS) assured me it was normal for S2k's. I check my oil every other week.

I'll keep you guys updated tomarrow I'll be double checking the spark plugs and coils. I just might pull the valve cover also.

10% of 250 is 25
250-25=225 that would be 10%.
if he has a cylinder at 190 and 3 at 250 there is an issue. Take it to a professional and have a leakdown done. If number 1 is at that level check it with a boroscope and see whats wrong in there. You may be rebuilding a head, at best, at worst you have a scored cylinder wall and thats a big chunk of change.

yeah i was thinking about the lower compression on #1 but the weird thing is that the dtc's are showing all 4 cylinders misfiring. i guess it could be a p0300 code which will be a simple misfire code instead of p0301-4 which will be a specific one.

definitely do have a leak test done and see where the problem lies with that cylinder. and do the other test for spark and fuel.

good luck!

it doenst matter what the actual compression numbers are... its the percentage difference between them that counts. You clearly have an issue in cylinder #1, which could be many different things, a leak down test would be the quickest way to find out whats wrong! if you do another compression test, remember to put a few spoon fulls of oil into cylinder #1, if the compression goes up, you have a ring or cylinder issue... if it doesnt, its probably a headgasket or valve issue.

good luck!

IT'S FIXED!!

I took the MAP sensor of and banged the crap out of it. then put it back on, nomore blinky CEL!! looks like I need to buy a new sensor, as for the 190 compression I guess I have to do a leak down.
