When going over 45mph ussually when i let off the accelerator the engine has a buzzing noise coming from behind the dash. As the car gets slower the buzzing gets quiter. It does this many times while decelerating at those speeds. Im going to ask when I take the car into the shop for faded tailights. The car has 11,000 miles on it and is 2000.

This is very common, I have no clue what it is, some say it's the clutch.. I hate it.. anyone know how to get rid of it?

 

there's supposed to be a TSB out for it, talk to your dealer

 

yes, it does seem like clutch buzz and should be covered under tsb054 I believe.

 

nature of the beast, its actually the transmission making the noise, but an updated clutch disc is supposed to dampen the noise but it never does..

 

well theres actually a couple different sounds. One is a whine and one is a BUZZ. The buzz is very noticeable and does get fixed with the new disk, but you are right, the whine does not get fixed.
