Majestic Honda has the TCT for 112.28. IF you do decide to do it yourself I really REALLY recommend wearing gloves and a long sleeve shirt. Last time I changed my TCT my hands and arm got pretty tore up from the heatshield and chassis sharp edges. Also, it makes it a lot easier if you remove your stock airbox out of the way, given you have stock airbox.

Okay It's a lot easier with pictures, but i'll try. The TCT is located right underneath the VTEC solonoid (sp?). It's located, when facing the motor from the front, on the left hand side, on the block right underneath the head, closest to you, about 2 or 3 inches from the stock battery heatshield. Let me quickly try to find the DIY site which has awesome pictures.

Oh yeah and I forgot, you're going to need a special hex-key to remove the maintenance bolt, but it's very straight forward. here is the link I used to do it myself. Check it out.

im worried that when pulling old one out that sumthing will fall in the head. does the old one fall apart easily?

You're steps are perfect. Your only concern would be if you really messed up and dropped something in the head. If i recall, the only way you could do that is if you tried. Just be careful when pulling the TCT off the head and do it in a nice mild manner so not to shake it around to much, and if you can, in one fluid motion.

Mine actually was stuck to the head and I had to pry it off, but in the process it sent my TCT flying off the head, all pieces in tact so nothing fell out. Good luck, if you have any concerns feel free...

And best thing to do is during an oil change. If you can drain the oil from the motor, things will be a lot "cleaner".

Hi to everyone, since my last posting the car has been in the family mechanics shop. meaning, I was at his mercy and I would just have to suck it up and wait.
The problem turned out to be with the transmission and not with the clutch or engine, even though the sound was up in the head area. Check out the pics, and the teeth that where rattling around. Cant wait to see the bill. But best of all the my baby is back and it feels like never before, quicker launch and more power. Amen....
