Default Engine noise NOT TCT?

Hi Everyone

Im after some advice.
My engine makes this ticking (metal on metal card in spokes) type sound when on idle. More so on Cold mornings, but even when the engine is warm.

Taken it to Honda a few times now and he can hear the noise but cant tell what it is. He seems to think it isnt the TCT, because you can hear it only from the Cabin side and cant really hear it when in the engine bay area.

Anyone had this same problem?

The noise goes away for a few seconds when you rev the engine a little. but it comes back when the idle rests back down.

The injectors are also quite noisy. Mine tick pretty loudly sometimes.

The owners manual says that a valve adjustment isn't needed until 105,000 miles. Unless you've had an overrev or done something else strange to the engine, I highly doubt it would be the valves.

valve adjustment isn't recommended till 105K miles BUT Billman has found tight valves before the recommended specified valve adj. time frame. I forgot the reasoning behind it and maybe he or something else can chime in, but it is a good idea to get it done after a xx-thousand miles.

Possibly a slight exhaust leak at the manifold. Does it still have the OEM header on it?

It's all stock and I picked it up last May with 10k on the clock. Apparently the valves should get adjusted at 10-15k.
If it were the valves, would it not make the sound all the time?

The header is stock too
