Guys

Servicing my car next week and was just wondering whether Mobil 1 0W40 fully synthetic is a suitable oil for a 2001 S

10W30 and 5W40 are recommended weights for S2000. 0W40 is okay too.

ok, i have 2 options....0W40 Mobil 1 or Chevron 5w40. Im not sure which one to go for....what do you recommend?

Either one is fine, but You're probably better off with the 0W-40. From what I've read, these are the common two grades used on your side of the pond.

Mobil website recommends 5W40 T&SUV SuperSync for S2000. This Mobil1 5W40 is the same with Mobil Delvac1 5W40, Devac1 is an excellent oil and cost more than Mobil1 in the US. If you can find Mobil1 5W40 T&SUV then use it, if not then Mobil1 0W40 or 10W30 will be your next choice. BTW, Mobil1 0W40 is recommennded for most MB and BMW cars too.
