Default engine oil change..

i just got my car a few days ago 2003 suzuka , and i want to change the oil.
i asked at the dealer and they use 5w40 but i see everybody here using 10w30 , so should i switch to 10w30?
and i also looked to buy oil near me house and i only found ACDELCO 10w30 , is it good?
anybody here using this oil?
thank u..

i think 10w30 for warm weather and 5w40 for colder? i know some people use 5w40 all year round no problem. and the same for 10w30. and they are using it both types of weather.

if it was me, i would avoid acdelco oil. i use mobil 1, and like it. ive used castrol in other cars and liked it as well. best advice we could give you though is to changed it on time and check the level frequently. these motors do tend to burn oil. i normally check mine at every fill up and keep about a 1/2 to full quart in the trunk to top it off.

The AC Delco 10W-30 that you mention, is it SM/GF-4 or SL/GF-3 rated? If so, it will work fine. Are you able to use the Honda 15400-004PCX oil filter?
The 5W-40 oils are very popular in Europe and are usually made of very good quality synthetic base stocks. They would work great in Greece too. Good luck and enjoy your new toy!

Every s2000 eats oil at different rates. Some eat 1 quart per 1000 miles, some eat 1 quart in 3000 miles. You need to check your oil everytime you fill up gas, and make sure it's at the proper level. If it's a little low, add enough to cover the X's.

the oil is SAE 10W30
and on the buttom is says api-sl
the oil should be all the time above the X's?
in the middle or one X down from H mark is a risk?
and about the oil filter can a accord filter fit in a s2k?
thank u very much guyssss....

Each X is about a quart. I just cover all the X's and be below the H.
