IMO...lot's of good oils on the market.NO ONE knows what is truly best.

I personally use Amsoil 0-30 in all my cars listed below. Our temp ranges from ( today) 18 in the winter to sometimes 95+ in the summer. No problems.

Oil is important and the oil filter is equally important.I favor Wix.

Personally use the SSO 0-30 also since I've owned the car with the Ea oil filters.

I switched briefly to castrol syntec because I leaked a lot of oil during a tct upgrade and I was going to change it within 2k miles anyway. My oil consumption was crazy bad as soon as I diluted it. I changed the oil back to sso and my oil consumption with sso is waaaay less and I drive the car hard.

I've recommended it to a few friends with s2k and they have no regrets or desire to use anything else now. On top of that, its actualy pretty cheap unless you're buying cases of mobil1 at costco/walmart. Cheaper than buying qts at autozone for sure, so why not?

From what I understand, you don’t want to use a racing oil in a street car. Because they don’t have very much detergent in them, which is OK if you change the oil after ever race, but can build up sludge in a street car.

FWIW, I am running Amsoil 0-30 SSO.
