Update! Crank has been removed. Two of the bearings had some wear but no where near as bad as the connecting rod bearings. Crank is in great shape with no scuffing at all. Figure I'd replace all the main bearings and all connecting rod bearings. Might bring the crank to a machine shop. Still need further inspection to make sure its good.

Trans is out. Mechanic said the biggest pain was the starter bolts...he said they sucked. Clutch is shot but not down to the revits. Flywheel looks good but we are sending out to refinished anyway.

Those bearing numbers take some de-coding but the helms has all the info on decoding the numbers to get the correct color bearings. Gonna wait til the machine shop takes a look at the crank first before ordering.

Also took apart the oil pump. That looks good.

You cannot machine the crank because there are no oversized bearings. Also its surfaced hardened and is not recommended. When I threw my rod bearings I took the crank out and trashed it. Everyone I have talked with has said the crank is un tounchable. If you think you crank is bad, then swap it out for a F22 crank and get the correct rods.
