So I start my car sunday night, and it starts rattling above 4k. Maybe a valve is bent or something. Does Honda offer any type of engine warranty? It's a 2002 with only 45000 miles on it. I've only put 4k miles on this car, if the engine is cooked, I'm screwed! Has this happened to anyone else?

 

looks like the rod bearing connector went out. the dealer says there are 7 different kinds and they are marked by different colors. we don't see any colors on them. any help?

 

Well turns out I spun a rod cylinder #2. Honda won't cover it. 45000 miles. Never overrevved it. What a POS. I'm never buying a Honda again.

 

Looks like u let the car run low on oil.... Dont blame Honda. blame yourself.

 

funny thing is I checked the oil right before this happened, dipstick said it was fine.

 

Engines just dont give out. Some point in time there was extreme abuse or starvation of oil
