i still cant possibly see how it would be easiest to drop the trans first.... Sure billman, you have done it 8 times... but how long do you think it would take someone to drop the trans for the first time.... taking the engine and trans out in one shot has to be easiest for a first timer. not everyone knows the car inside and out like you. just my .02.

If you havnt done a trans on this car yet... its not going to take you only 2 hours on the ground.

My first swap was done on a ap1 and I removed the Engine/Tranny together through the bottom using a lift.. It was a PITA for sure..

Well Im ready for another one now and Im going to go with Billman this time and remove the tranny from the bottom and the engine from the top.
