Default Engine sound, knock or vibration?

Hello Everyone, my Honda s2000 engine started sounding differently than normal. I thought maybe it was normal because my car has aftermarket engine mounts which causes a lot of vibration already. Then i started hearing a distinct sound . There was a rainstorm that hit my city yesterday and the day before so i suspect water couldve gotten into my Injen CAI and sucked it up. I drove it the next day and started hearing this sound.

That is cold start and the sound would go away when I rev my engine

Warm engine at 3 bars, the noise is noticeable. Any clues what this could be? could it be that water caused internal damage? Or just excessive vibration?

Sounds like it could be a bad TCT to me. What is the mileage on the car? How are the oil levels?

It was hard to tell from the video. I thought it might have sounded a little bit like rod knock, but rod knock will persist as the RPM climb.
Usually TCT noise is drowned out when the RPMs climb.

Billman should be able to confirm

Take off the drive belt and check the pulleys, or run the car without the belt for no more than a minute see if the noise persists. If it's not the pulleys then it may be a TCT, doesn't sound like engine knocking, you may have something rattling, maybe something lodged between the transmission and chassis. Maybe a really bad motor mount?

The sound sounds like its coming from cylinder 1 area, or towards that area . In the video if you watch how i move the camera from right to left, the sound gets louder

I only watched the second video but my car is making the exact same noise. I dont think it has done it before but i noticed it today in the parking lot. Warmed up, 120k miles, only seems to do it at idle.

Nope not getting that sound, the quiet squeaky rattle. It sounds close (and intermittent) enough that it could be related though. I wish I could help more.

And I'm leaning towards a heat shield as bgoetz said. It only makes the noise sometimes and at idle speed. I'm just finishing up my second tank of gas since owning the car and the mechanics that inspected the car, and the one that did my alignment didn't say there's anything wrong although it wasn't making that sound at the time.
