Default Engine starting thump

Just wondering if its normal for the engine to have somewhat of a thump/clunk when you start it.

After pressing the button, and it will begin to rotate, then when it starts to idle, there is a little thump, and I figured it was supposed to be like this, but wanted to make sure.

Its not really violent or anything, probably not noticeable to anyone else... but I feel everything!

Could be the hampsters getting their electric shock up the butt.
Who's to say? This car makes all sorts of noises and trying to describe it over the internet is quite difficult. Meet with the local S2000 owners and compare.

I have the same thing bud. I'm running Fuji exhaust + PRM Intake + Mobile 1. Never really noticed it until the Mobile 1 went in and the temps were above 80.

Well it seems like its just a quirk of the car. Like the vibrating shifter. But I didnt find any related stuff in search to this.

I'll see what some local guys say next time we meet up.

If it aint broke, dont worry about it. Like xviper said there are dozens of noises the S2000 make, unless you're having serious problems its nothing to worry about.
